Vienna Almonds 200g

The exact method for making these almonds is top secret, but here’s what I do know. They’re made using a heritage variety of almond that’s roasted and slowly caramelised in large copper bowls that have been in use since 1939.

The same family have been making them for more than 70 years and the recipe hasn’t changed. The caramelised shell gives them a satisfying crunch, and inside the roasted almonds are rich and creamy.

We rarely keep them in our house because whenever a jar appears in the kitchen it’s usually gone within 10 minutes. They’re seriously good.
